What a wonderful night! The kitchen was busy with chef's bustling about, preparing their dishes with the ingredients they were given to work with. And, oh my, what a pleasure!
I am so proud to have been able to bring this Top Chef Scholarship Challenge to East Lee County High School. Healthy Harvest Community Farms sponsored all of the food the students prepared tonight and the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce funded the scholarships. These are two GREAT organizations that are doing wonderful things in Lehigh. Get involved, it is a boatload of fun!
This was a night to behold. Lee County School District's Communication Department created a video (coming soon) and these 3 students cooked their hearts out!
We are so very happy to have them as great partners for the community.
